I too have been enjoying the resurgence of visible mending. I sent you a book...The Stories Clothes Tell (Japan). I found it fascinating. A little thank you for all you share!

Kristin, love seeing your lamb photos and your #100dayproject 2022 work. I'm doing 100 days of charity knitting and crocheting and in an ode to you I'm loving working with color! Best wishes!

Hi Kristin, so great to read your newsletter! Your afghan is so beautiful and colorful! Do you still have a stash of your own brand yarn to use? If not, what are you using or recommending? My best to you and your family!

Hi Judy — yes I still have a stash of the yarn! So I am using it. There were 3 iterations of it so I’ve got lots of sample balls. I have had to find some shades to add that I was out of. Northampton from Webs has some decent colors although the fiber content is 100% wool and my yarn is 50 wool 25 alpaca and 25 mohair. Hope you are well.

So glad to see a post from you. Also, I hope I'm lucky enough to get another one of your platters. I managed to get one in the past and it fits in with my kitchen which includes ceramics I bought when I lived in Italy. Love to you and your family.

Hi Helen— so nice to hear from you. So nice that my platter is living with your Italian treasures. I do love the pottery from Italy. Totally inspiring! Have a great spring. Kristin

Love this newsletter. Not least because we are sheep farmers (merino) in Australia, I'm a gardener, embroiderer and writer and I enjoy cooking what I grow, so I found a lot to relate to in your post. Please keep the newsletters coming...

Thanks so much for writing Prue. We live in a rather damp and humid climate so merino would never work for us. When I used to procure yarn though for the company I worked for I’m quite sure there was Merino in the blend. Thanks so much for writing. Kristin
