The sheep at sunset one evening

Hello Friends of Leyden Glen Lamb:

A quick note today to let you know Leyden Glen Lamb will be back at the Amherst Farmers Market tomorrow - Saturday September 1st.

I am not sure if you have heard but we have been missing at the market since the beginning of July. Farmer Mark had hip replacement surgery in mid-July. Kristin has been trying to keep the farm going, along with running the Creative Retreats here at Leyden Glen Farm. She has had some great help from her Farm Angels (two local guys plus some neighbors).

Here is a photo of the sheep one evening when Kristin was doing chores with her friend Cynthia before entertaining a group of students learning how to print fabric and paint ceramic tiles.

Stop by tomorrow and say hi to Kristin and pick up some of our farm raised lamb for Labor Day. She will update you on Mark's recovery from surgery and all that has gone on at the farm this summer.
