A New location for the Amherst Winter Farmers Market

Good Morning Friends,

We hope this weekend finds you cooking a good meal to share with family and friends. Here at the farm, we are in the thick of lambing season. Yesterday, eleven lambs were born to bring our total close to 50 thus far. Mark is working hard to keep up with many more mamas waiting to deliver soon. This season we have a new helper named Andrea who is learning a lot and enjoying her time being with the sheep and lambs. Andrea works at Just Roots Farm during the growing season.

Just a quick note to remind you that every Saturday, Kristin is selling our delicious lamb at the NEW LOCATION of the Amherst Winter Farmers Market just outside the doors of Target at the Hampshire Mall. It may be an odd location for a Farmers Market but the hallway is wide, the music is good, the farmers are lots of fun, and we all appreciate your support. Stop by on your way to and fro. Pick up some crafting or sewing supplies at JoAnn's after you've stopped by our market stand (we are towards the back on the right). Have yourself a creative and delicious weekend. Can't get to the Mall? You can find our lamb at Greenfields Market, McCusker's Market, Atlas Farm Store and Simple Gifts new farm store. Our lamb is also on the menu at Hope and Olive.

Here's a photo of one of the new little one. Just born and up and nursing in 15 minutes. Many miracles happen every day at our farm.
