Registration Now Open for ONE DAY Creative Retreats at Leyden Glen Farm
Hello Colorful Friends!
Happy May Day. I can't deliver a bouquet personally to you so I'm sending a virtual bouquet of daffodils and narcissus from my garden.
I'll keep this short today. A couple weeks ago, I announced my line-up for Creative Retreats for 2017. I have run these retreats since 2009 here at our farm. My family and I have loved meeting all the folks who have travelled from all over the country to take classes with me.
This year, I decided to offer One Day Options for each weekend. They have just been added to my website. Check it out here.
To register for the One Day Classes, you will have to read about the class in the first part of the web page. To register, scroll to the bottom of the page and that is where you register for the One Day Classes. To register for the Two Day Classes, use the button just below each class description. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email me at kristinnicholas@gmail.com.
There are 3 weekend long retreats. They are:
Fabric Printing + Color: July 15, 2017 ---- Saturday
Paint Your Own Lampshade: July 16, 2017 - Sunday
Fabric Printing + Embroidery: July 30, 2016 - Saturday
Ceramic Tile Surface Design: July 31, 2016 - Sunday
Color + Embroidery for Knitters: September 23 - Saturday
Crazy Knit Swatch Blanket for Knitters: September 24 - Sunday
One Day Classes are $199 and include Lunch, Morning Snack, Beverages and Most Supplies
Two Day Classes are $360 and Include Lunch, Morning Snack, Beverages and Most Supplies
SCROLL TO THE END OF THIS EMAIL TO SEE PHOTOS OF PROJECTS AND CLASSES.
And I am excited to say that I have several students who are returning for their second and third Creative Retreats! That is awesome. Why don't you think about making a trip to the farm?
And because so many of you love to read links, here are some things I found on the web:
• If I were to go to the UK this spring, I would be sure to see this exhibit.
• Speaking of exhibits, the MFA in Boston has a new Matisse Exhibit that luckily I will get to see because it is only a couple hours away.
* My hens are producing at least a dozen eggs a day. This recipe looks good if you too have a lot of eggs to eat.
The Farmers Markets have begun again. If you are local, I'm at the Northampton Tuesday Market every Tuesday. Stop by.
I'll also be at the Annual Webs Tent and Fleece Sale on Saturday May 20th. Hope to see some of you there too. More info here.
I hope to see some of you here at the farm this summer.
Yours in color and creativity,
Kristin Nicholas
