Hello Friends of Leyden Glen Farm!
Making it short and sweet today. The rhubarb is up and ready. It's time to make Persian Lamb + Rhubarb Stew. Lovely spices and really yummy. Here is the link to the recipe.
It is the third week of the Amherst Farmers Market. Although we were trepidacious as it was our first foray into the new world, the market is going great. It is well organized with one-way traffic. Everyone is wearing a mask. There is lots of hand sanitizer and vendors are behind plexiglas. It is located directly on the Common with green grass under foot. Hours are 7:30 to 1:30
After a long winter and then the quarantine, it is so nice to see all our smiling customers. Hope to see you tomorrow. Here's a photo of the ewes in the pasture below our farmhouse. They are loving the fresh green grass.
