New Pottery from Kristin Nicholas
Hello Colorful Friends:
A quick note to let you know my website is now updated with many new pieces of colorful, handmade and hand painted pottery.

Here's a quick preview of a few of the pieces. Each piece is hand thrown on my potter's wheel or built of a slab of clay. The designs are painted with underglaze. Each color has to have three coats of underglaze to obtain the depth of color. The pieces are bisque fired and then covered with a clear glaze and fired again. They are then glossy and ready for you. It's quite a process if I do say so myself.
This is a large platter - perfect for a wedding gift or to hang on the wall.
A big beautiful serving bowl - another lovely gift for a bride or yourself.
One of the many mugs that I have made during the quarantine.
That's it for today. I hope you have a happy and safe and colorful weekend.
Yours in color and creativity,
Kristin Nicholas

Here is a video of my Talk at Google. I went to Cambridge, Massachusetts and spoke at their offices there in late June.
A fun video of our farm, our farmhouse, and my family. Our farm is located 2 hours from Boston and 3 1/2 hours from NYC. We are at the northern most part of western Massachusetts bordering Vermont. Our farm is 15 minutes off of Route 91, the north/south highway connecting Montreal to NYC.
